Launched in 2022 by Budapest Park and Vesta Home Hungary Ltd., the initiative was born out of a desire to ignite the creative spark in the youth and support children living in disadvantaged circumstances. As the event transitions into its new chapter under the stewardship of the Create Freely Foundation for Young Artists in 2023, its mission remains unwavering: to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of the next generation.
Today, I stand before you, not just as an artist, but as an ambassador for this noble cause, extending this magnificent opportunity beyond the borders of Hungary to the children of the Emirates. It's a role that fills me with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility, as we bridge cultures and continents in the name of creativity.
The process is straightforward yet impactful. Young talents are invited to showcase their artworks by submitting them to the www.alkossszabadon.com website. Each submission is not just a piece of art; it's a story, an expression, and a testament to the boundless imagination of our children. In late April, these works will physically travel to Budapest via a diplomatic shipment, where they will be officially received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This competition is more than just an artistic endeavor; it's a platform that empowers, educates, and elevates. By participating, these young artists are not only given a voice but are also contributing to a larger narrative of hope and resilience. As the ambassador of the "Create Freely" competition, I am honored to play a part in this journey, encouraging as many Hungarian children as possible to express themselves freely through art in the Emirates.
